The Great Northern Series captures the stunning art of Winold Reiss and his Blackfeet Indians paintings that were used for thirty years of calendar art and promotional purposes for the Great Northern Railway.
Now through a license agreement with the BNSF Railway Company, Lowell Smith Signature Series brings you the chance to own this 2009 calendar, reproduced with technical accuracy from the 1936 version. Also introducing a new series of collectible N-scale and HO scale Great Northern box cars with this same art image as a “billboard” on the side of the car. |

Economic reasons have slowed my production plans for this series. However I am planning to produce a completely new GN/Reiss calendar for 2011. This should be announced 2nd quarter of 2010. In the meantime I have a few "First Stabber" calendars with 2010 tear off sheets.
